This Refund Policy explains the circumstances in which Vitera may provide a refund or similar payment reversal for purchases of Complete Resume Optimization Flows or other related digital services.

1. General Rule

Unless required otherwise by applicable law or expressly stated on the checkout page, Vitera does not offer voluntary refunds for reasons such as a change of mind, no longer wanting to use the product, or general dissatisfaction.

In other words, as a general rule, you should complete a purchase only after deciding that you are genuinely ready to use the relevant product or feature.

2. Situations That May Qualify for Refund Review

We may review a refund request and, where appropriate, provide a refund or payment reversal in the following situations:

  • duplicate charges;
  • incorrect billing amount;
  • reasonably verified unauthorized charges;
  • failure to deliver a purchased digital service;
  • a material technical failure that prevents you from accessing the purchased service and cannot be resolved within a reasonable time; or
  • other situations where applicable law clearly requires a refund.

3. Situations That Normally Do Not Qualify for a Refund

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, the following situations generally do not qualify for a refund:

  • you changed your mind after purchase;
  • dissatisfaction based only on personal preference;
  • the product went unused because you did not use it during a valid period, if a validity period later applies to that product;
  • problems caused primarily by your own device, browser configuration, network environment, or misuse of the Service; or
  • you saw the product scope and service model before purchase but later requested a refund only because your expectations changed.

4. What Counts as "Performance Has Begun"

For digital services or digital content, performance may be considered to have begun once we start providing the purchased service in a meaningful way. Depending on the product flow, this may include:

  • activating a purchased Complete Resume Optimization Flow in your account;
  • unlocking access to a paid flow;
  • running a paid resume assessment;
  • generating a paid optimization draft or output; or
  • otherwise delivering the digital service you purchased.

5. EU / UK Consumer Withdrawal Rights

If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you may have a statutory right of withdrawal for certain digital service purchases.

Where applicable law gives you a withdrawal right, that right may change if:

  • you expressly request that we begin providing the digital service during the withdrawal period; and
  • you expressly acknowledge that once performance begins or is completed, your withdrawal right may be limited or lost to the extent permitted by law.

Vitera does not seek to exclude or deprive you of any statutory rights you have under applicable law.

6. No Additional Refund Commitment Beyond Law

This Policy does not create any broader refund commitment beyond what is expressly stated here or required by applicable law. If the laws in your location give you stronger rights, your statutory rights will prevail.

7. How to Request a Refund Review

If you believe your purchase qualifies for refund review, please contact support and provide as much of the following information as possible:

  • the email address or account identifier associated with the account;
  • the order number or transaction identifier, if available;
  • the purchase date;
  • a short description of the issue; and
  • relevant screenshots, error messages, or other supporting information.

8. Review Timing

We will try to:

  • acknowledge receipt of a refund review request within 1 to 3 business days; and
  • complete a reasonable review within 5 to 10 business days, depending on the complexity of the issue and the responsiveness of the relevant payment provider.

If a refund is approved, it will generally be returned to the original payment method, unless applicable law requires otherwise or another arrangement is made for operational reasons.

9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

You may still have the right to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute through a payment provider, card issuer, or other financial institution. We recommend contacting us first so we can review the issue directly, but nothing in this Policy removes any dispute rights you may have under applicable law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last Updated" date above.
